We are very grateful to Cllr Brian Clemens for funding these three memorial benches from his Community Chest fund. They have been hand made by Celtic Garden Furniture and as you can see are dedicated to four local members of our community who supported not only this project, but many others over the past years, but who are sadly no longer with us.
Pat Earley was a founder member of the Community Cemetery and worked tirelessly for many other local causes and charitable organisations.
June and Cyril Honey were staunch supporters of this project, and our village.
Derek Jones devoted much of his personal time and energy to committees and community projects across the area.
All were much loved, and are now much missed by their families & friends here in Pendeen. May they rest in quiet peace and may those who visit the Community Cemetery take a moment to sit down, and share a moment of that peace with them.
