About Us
Lands End Peninsula Community Land Trust (LEPCLT) was established as a charitable organisation in 2010. We set up with the goal of providing affordable housing for local people and establishing a Local Community Supported food growing project.
Those early missions delivered 8 homes in Croft Mear, Pendeen (end of Moorland Close) and supported the community to buy and show it could run Bosavern Community Farm. 6 of those homes are now owned and rented out to local people through Cornwall Housing (part of Cornwall Council) and 2 are owned by local people.
As a Land Trust, we are still responsible for the open spaces and parking areas there. The Farm is now successfully and independently run by its own body, Bosavern Community Enterprises.
Our projects since then have been to support the community to fundraise and provide an excellent skate park in St Just and to obtain land and planning consent to provide the first community cemetery, nationally, in Pendeen. We are also looking to provide some affordable and sustainable homes in St Just.
